Picking apples !! _ English ver.

apples_01.jpg
On Sunday it was really a sunny and warm autumn day !!
in strong contrast to the previous day, when it was very cold.

My husband finally took a day off from work,
then we rented a car and went picking apples and looking for some antiques
in New Paltz, which lies in the Hudson River Valley upstate New York.

" Where are the apples ?? "

Don't worry. Look carefully.
Here !! the tree was heavy with apples.
The owner of these farms said that the day we went there
was the last day for picking apples.

We just barely made it !! It was great for us.

We found actually many apples fallen on the ground
more than the ones on tree.

We picked 4 kinds of apples.
FUJI, ROME, STAYMAN, MACOUN.

"This is tasty !! That is also sweet !! "
We rubbed an apple roughly with our jeans and
tasted a polished one as soon as we picked it.

So we had relaxing time, breathing fresh air and walking
all over the spacious farms. We felt pleasant.
And also the homemade dougnats, which we ate at the farms
after having returned with a heavy bucket filled with apples,
were fantastic !!

We want to go back there next year !!

The farms where we went were DRESSEL FARMS.
From Manhattan, go up north on Interstate 87 and get off at exit 18.

You will find the farms easily with
such a cute weather-apple.
